Minimum Coefficient of Retroreflecive values when measured in accordance with CIE Publication 54.2, using CIE standard illuminant A, are shown in Table 1. Retroreflective values under wet conditions are retained more than 80% of the values in Table 1.

 Durability
  The sheeting can be expected to provide the effective performance life of 5 years under normal outdoor conditions except for extreme weather conditions, such as in tropical, cold, or desert areas. However, the effective performance life will depend upon substrate selection, preparation and compliance with recommended application procedures, exposure conditions and maintenance.
 Adhesion (Adhesive type only)
 

When adhesion is tested in accordance with JIS-Z-9117, peeling distance is not more than 50mm, provided the adhered surface is pre-treated with primer.

 Advisory in Use and Storage
 ‚Pj Application
  Fabric backing type (#32010) can be sawn with ordinary sewing needle. Howerever, teflon coated needle is recommended when machine sewing.
Adhesive type (#32016) has adhesive on its back, and can be applied by squeeze roll applicator or hand roller. However, required performance may not be obtained depending on substrate, use of primer is recommended in such cases.
 ‚Qj Cutting

The product can be cut by scissors, cutting knife, or die cut machine. In either way, sharp blades must be used.

 ‚R) Maintainance
  It is recommended to wash with water using neutral detergent and soft cloth or sponge. Use of solvent and dry cleaning shall be avoided.
 ‚Sj Storage
  KIWALITE Reflective Sheeting should be stored in a cool, dry area, preferably at 18 - 28Ž and 30 - 60% relative humidity in accordance with KIWALITE manuals and advices, and should be used within one year from the date of delivery.
